How to get the manual
The manual is rank B and survives 30 uses; every crafting attempt spends one use.
Gilmore: general shop owner in Bangor, sells them at his counter (35,000 gold).
Granites: general shop owner in Filia, sells them at his counter (35,000 gold).
Red Dragon: field raid boss in Zardine's volcanic plains. No requirements; fight it north of Raspa Volcano in Zardine during twice-daily spawn windows.
Giant Lion: field boss in Courcle's meadows, spawns twice daily.
Materials
Expect about 6 attempts per finished item (17% average progress per attempt). Per-attempt materials are consumed on every attempt; finishing materials once per item.
Each attempt uses
5× Iron Ingot — refine from Iron Ore (common low-rank Refining output)
1× Common Leather Strap — weaving at a spinning wheel (or common low-level monster drops)
Finishing (once per item)
1× Common Fabric — buy from NPC shops
1× Common Silk — buy from Seal Merchant (Mondays) for seals, or weave rank F
